Since the founding in 1954 Migrol has been playing an important role in the Swiss energy sector. The firm operates around 307 fuel stations and around 70 car wash facilities all over Switzerland. At numerous fuel stations you can also find convenience shops operated by migrolino, a company which is part of the Migros Group too (https://www.migrol.ch/de/).

The challenge

Firms with decentralized organisational structures, like fuel station operators, are faced with a high number of maintenance tasks every day. Reports about malfunctions or errors have to be managed, corresponding documents must be stored and legal or preventive review dates have to be documented. Using software solutions offers the chance to automate and digitalize these tasks to a high extent. To adapt the solution to the needs of the users in the best possible way it is essential to know their problems and challenges. Through this, needed functionalities can be considered. omis 4.0 is a real web application. It can be accessed and used anywhere. Installation of a programme is not required and the design is responsive. Through this we offer an optimized operation for all users. Our standard configuration covers the main, daily tasks. For omis 4.0 to integrate itself optimally in the firm-internal workflows we pay attention to a minimum internal implementation effort on the customer side.

 

„The implementation of the software was very efficient and productive. The omis 4.0 team understood our wishes instantly. However, they also questioned them critically and did not applied them blindly but made active suggestions. This led to a valuable exchange for both sides. We did not need the Migrol IT department because thanks to the cloud application there was no installation effort on our side”, remembers Mr. Gregori.

omis 4.0 has a modular structure and can therefore be adapted specifically to the needs of each customer. The various modules result in numerous functions and options for how omis can be optimally used in the company. The main module lists and manages the most important master data. It also serves as a data source for the other modules. omis 4.0 includes the essential functions that are needed by users in their daily work: Master data management, message management, document management system, test date and checklist management and evaluation options.
