Alexander Radomski (Head of Performance Management in the Gas Station Division at team energie): “Together, we are taking the next major step in digital transformation. The successful development of the omis IoT Hub marks a milestone that now enables us to actively drive predictive maintenance forward.”
The customer
team energie GmbH & Co. KG is a comprehensive supplier with a steadily growing portfolio of services in the agriculture, construction, and energy sectors. With approximately 5,400 employees, the company operates, among other things, a network of gas stations comprising about 100 stations, 84 construction supply locations, and 117 agricultural supply locations. team energie is our first customer to deploy the omis IoT Hub live at its gas stations

The initial situation
Our client, team energie, already uses software for various maintenance tasks, and there are no plans to replace it in the near future. By implementing the omis IoT Hub, the Energy Division aims to automate and optimize its maintenance processes.
The solution
In the first step, Washtec’s car wash stations were connected to the omis IoT Hub via an API. omis forwards the damage reports to the existing software solution via an interface. There, they are processed by team energie employees as usual. This first phase is already live. In the second step, devices related to fuel sales (cash register, payment terminal, fuel pumps) will be connected. Malfunctions will be transmitted directly to omis via an API. In Phase 3, the direct connection of coffee machines and refrigerators is planned.
Alexander Radomski: “We are excited to integrate additional innovative components into the omis IoT Hub and pave the way for future-proof maintenance solutions. This success underscores how deeply we are integrating digital progress into our processes—and we are thrilled to be on this journey with our team and partners. The future is connected, and we are ready to shape it!”
The automatic transmission of fault reports significantly improves the quality of the reports and also enables them to be forwarded directly to service providers. The results: systems are back online in the shortest possible time and ready to generate revenue again. Furthermore, administrative overhead can be significantly reduced. All in all, it’s an investment that pays for itself in no time!
Maintenance management—and the associated coordination of malfunctions—presents many operators with the challenge of keeping track of multiple systems. “Who has an overview of which malfunctions are occurring where?”, “For which ones has a service provider already been contracted?”, or “Which ones are still pending?” are just a few of the questions that arise in this context. Based on our many years of experience, we are certain that predictive maintenance is a key concept here. Faults must be detected and resolved as quickly as possible. Additionally, the processes running in the background (e.g., commissioning a service provider) must be automated. The key to success? Workflow-driven fault management combined with IoT solutions. Our solution? The omis IoT Hub, which is capable of consolidating multiple data sources into a single tool. omis serves as the central hub for all faults automatically reported (via an API) by various devices. It is based on intelligent algorithms—the ideal complement to existing ticketing systems and the path to a comprehensive IoT strategy.
