MTV Förster LLC

Our maintenance and repair software was implemented at MTV Förster GmbH in record time. The implementation took only three weeks.

“Our professional collaboration with the MTV Förster team made it possible to complete the project in a short timeframe,” says Markus Vorhauer, Project Manager at omis, summarizing the successful completion of the project.

The MTV Förster GmbH & Co. KG operates 37 gas stations in central Germany under the bft logo and the ARAL brand, as well as a car wash center. The portfolio also includes supply rights to two gas stations on federal highways. MTV Förster focuses on high-quality locations. The car washes feature state-of-the-art technology, and the spacious gas station stores offer everything you need for your trip.

The challenge

Many decision-makers associate the introduction of a new software solution with a massive investment of time and money, with problems stemming from a lack of expertise among internal
staff, and with challenges in balancing the implementation with day-to-day operations. We, too, are familiar with these concerns from initial discussions with interested parties and potential customers. We also know that collecting and preparing data on all equipment during the implementation of a maintenance and repair solution can be a time-consuming task for the customer. With our“easy implementation”model, we help keep the effort to a minimum and adapt it to the customer’s current circumstances.

The solution

The omis 4.0 maintenance and repair software was implemented at MTV Förster GmbH in record time. The implementation—from project kickoff to training led by an experienced project manager—took just three weeks.

The project was completed quickly because the client was highly committed to the project and was able to provide the necessary data in a very short time. This enabled the omis team to manage such a short implementation timeline and make the application available within days.

omis 4.0 went live in less than a month. Since then, the application has been running smoothly, providing the company with complete traceability and an overview of all reports submitted by gas station operators via omis.

“The previous solution at MTV Förster, which took the form of a proprietary web portal, allowed gas station operators to report malfunctions, but there was no way to provide feedback and no traceability. Since the introduction of omis, these problems are a thing of the past,” said Franz Berneder, Sales at omis 4.0
