Günter Breitinger (Head of Gas Station Systems): "Using omis as a ticket system in the categories of troubleshooting and defect rectification has simplified and accelerated communication for all parties involved and significantly improved the overview. This increase in efficiency ultimately leads to satisfaction for everyone involved."
The customer
TESSOL GmbH was founded in 1952 and has since focused entirely on the gas station business. With a network of stations in the federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Thuringia, and Saxony, and steady growth in recent years, the company is now an important part of the AVIA network.

The challenge
Many decision-makers associate the introduction of a new software solution with immense time and cost expenditure, problems due to a lack of expertise among internal staff, and challenges in terms of compatibility with daily operations. We are also familiar with concerns of this kind from initial discussions with interested parties and potential customers. We also know that collecting and preparing data on all equipment when implementing a maintenance and repair solution can be a time-consuming task for the customer. In the case of TESSOL, no detailed data on the stations and associated equipment was available. The big question was how we could still ensure the fastest possible start with our software.
Markus Vorhauer (omis project manager): "TESSOL did not have the necessary data on the equipment, nor did it have the human resources or the intention to record this data or transfer it to omis. We are familiar with this problem from our experience with other projects and were able to offer an alternative solution."
The solution
In order to make implementation as quick and easy as possible, we decided to use dummy equipment to represent the equipment data. Combined with our standard error catalog, this allows fault messages to be sent quickly and easily. It is still possible to create meaningful evaluations and analyses (KPIs) based on the error type.

An additional message type was implemented for defect rectification during inspections in order to accommodate the individual processes at TESSOL. The tickets are transferred directly to the main service providers via an API (interface). This shortens the response time of the service providers and increases device availability.
