#5: omis implementation in record time at MTV Förster GmbH & Co. KG

Our maintenance management software was implemented at MTV Förster GmbH in record time. The realization lasted three weeks only. Read about how we managed this in our latest success story.

The customer

Förster MTV Förster GmbH & Co. KG operates 37 filling stations under the brands bft and ARAL and wash-center in Central Germany. The portfolio also includes delivery rights for two federal highway-stations. MTV Förster focuses on high-quality locations. The car wash facilities are technically up-to-date and the spacious shops offer everything needed for a drive (https://www.foerster-oel.de/).

The challenge

Many decision-makers associate the implementation of a new software solution with a high effort concerning time and costs, with problems resulting from missing know-how among the internal staff and with challenges when trying to integrate it in the daily business. From first meetings with prospects and potential customers we know these concerns. In addition, we are aware that the collection and preparation of all equipment data can be one of the most time-consuming tasks on the customer side. With our model "Easy Implementation" we aim at reducing the effort and adapt it to the actual situation of the individual customer.

 

The solution

Our maintenance software omis 4.0 was implemented at MTV Förster GmbH in record time. The realization - from project start to enrollment by an experienced project manager - lasted three weeks only.

The fast realization of the project was only possible because of the high engagement of the customer that delivered the required data in the shortest possible time. As a result, the omis team could manage such a short implementation time and could make the application available within days.

Live operation of omis 4.0 was realized after less than one month. Since then the application has been used flawlessly and makes a seamless traceability and overview over all reports that are send by operators with omis possible.

"The prior solution used by MTV Förster, an internal web portal, allowed operators to send error reports but there were no possibilities to give feedback and no traceability was possible. Since the omis implementation these problems belong to the past", says Franz Berneder, sales manager at Faschang Service & Management GmbH.

 

In a current, next step the module for claim management and interfaces to Huth and TSG are implemented.
