What’s the size of our ecological footprint?

For us the only answer can be: As small as possible!

There are various ways in which omis supports firms to reduce CO2 emissions and establish a sustainable, environmentally friendly maintenance management. This is realized e.g. through…

…reports of higher quality that lead to less drives of service providers or technicians and avoid multiple drives.

…the possibility to first go through a checklist before a report is even created. Instructions, pictures, tips and tricks support the self-repair on site and may lead to avoiding an unnecessary drive of a service provider.

…a suggestion list of all service providers sorted by skills, distance, rating etc. In the case of manual commissioning there is the possibility to hire a service provider based on his location and through this minimize driving distances.

…our additional module omis maps that shows all open reports and upcoming inspection dates on a digital map and makes the information available in real time and mobile. This makes it possible to optimize drives and adjust the operational planning to driving routes.

How can our software contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and saving the environment?

With just one mouse click omis provides an overview of all relevant data for devices and equipment. It also shows the number of repairs. Based on this, older and prone to failure equipment can be replaced by a new one that consumes less energy before they break down again or are "repaired to death".

Another advantage of a preventive service with associated inspections: Less spare parts must be produced and delivered. The plant operator is able to plan what he needs when, can take actions early and prevents additional multiple drives of service technicians.

What happens if the car wash of a fuel station does not work? Of course, either there is a long queue or the customers drive to the next station and produce additional CO2. omis contributes to reducing or even preventing such stand stills.
